We’re now counting down the days to our official launch event, and it’s all starting to get very exciting!
The event, on Saturday, January 24, 2015, will begin with the arrival of our VIP guests from 2pm onwards, and we will be serving a selection of wines and soft drinks, accompanied with mouth-watering canapés.
We’re very pleased to announce that the Deputy Mayor of High Wycombe, Councillor Mohammed Hanif, will be officially opening Safe Haven Dementia Centre and cutting the familiar red ribbon at approximately 3.30pm. Also present will be the Bucks Free Press, and it will be great to have our first feature in the local press.
Once the formalities and speeches are over, we can kick back and enjoy the grand finale, consisting of entertainment provided by Soprano Sensation, Linda Watts, who will be performing a well-known selection of songs from days gone by. At the same time, a scrumptious Afternoon Cream Tea will be served.
We are keen to promote the atmosphere and homely environment that Safe Haven will be providing its clients, and are feeling extremely positive that our launch event will do just that.
It has taken an awful lot of hard work and commitment to get to this stage, and we are looking forward to having the opportunity to thank the numerous people who have helped us along the way to achieve our goal of opening for business on Monday, January 26, 2015.
